Rina is one of the older NPCs you're liable to find on Gaia. She started as the greeter, welcoming people to the site with her brother, Leon. After that aspect of the site was taken down, Rina disappeared for a fairly long time. She had minor parts in plot and events, such as her charity tree in Christmas 2003, but most of her involvement has been recent. She was eventually put in as a Towns NPC, as well as the manager of the Barton Flowershoppe in Barton Town. She's also the NPC that guided you through the new profile system, taking over from Leon's temporary placement as the manager of that job.
She is now the shopkeeper of Buttercup Cafe.
